SKIPPER Logistics Announces Expansion in Gwinnett County
France-based company to add 15 new jobs in metro Atlanta

(GWINNETT- METRO ATLANTA) February 5, 2016 – SKIPPER Logistics joined Georgia Department of Economic Development and Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development to announce the expansion of its operations to Gwinnett County, metro Atlanta, Georgia. The France-based supply chain and transport guidance management company will create 15 new jobs, investing $400,000 in warehouse and technology support.

“After more than 40 years of success in the Europe’s logistics market, it was time to respond to our tremendous growth by providing our logistics solution to the American market,” said Fabien Jouvet, President of SKIPPER Logistics. “We decided that Gwinnett County is the ideal location for SKIPPER Logistics to develop a strong U.S. presence, due to its central location. Gwinnett Economic Development and the state of Georgia have been extremely helpful in providing relocation assistance, resources and training.”

SKIPPER Logistics is expected to employ pickers and warehouse staff for it 66,000-square-foot location at 753 Winer Industrial Way, Suite A in the City of Lawrenceville. The company provides outsourcing logistics solution (storage & detail picking operations), freight organization and business intelligence software to improve your supply chain. SKIPPER Logistics solutions include supply chain facilities management, delivery operations, software management and consulting.

SKIPPER plans to open several new warehouses in the U.S. over the next three years. SKIPPER Logistics has six logistical warehouses in Southeast France and two in Paris.
